Signed Elliott & Fry postcard photograph of the Russian violinist, dated 1917. Toning and some light soiling; overall very good. 3.5 x 5.5 inches (9 x 14 cm).

Zacharewitsch was a student of Sevcik who in 1893 débuted at Odessa in the Tchaikovsky concerto, conducted by the composer. He went on to settle in England in 1909, performed extensively, and published a treatise on violin playing in 1934. (17337)
