Autograph signature from the masterful violinist, clipped from an autograph letter and with a fragment of the letter visible on the verso. Together with a reproduction photograph and a smaller clipped halftone photograph. The signature reads: "With best wishes / Yours very sincerely / Joseph Szigeti." The fragment of letter visible on the verso reads: "... So you see I will spend exactly 16 hours at home and I don't supposed I will be in Paris for more than 10 days altogether between now and next autum! (I am giving a mster class at Schloss Charlottenburg in Berlin in June and July.) This will explain to you why I dare not promise you my..."
