The volume contains approx. 38 items of music loosely bound in large hardcover album with decorative front board, featuring a color portrait of a young woman and elaborate silver and gold flowers surrounding the word "Music." Included are songs by Anton Rubinstein ("Thou'rt like unto a flower," Boston: Oliver Ditson & Co., [ca. 1874]), Arthur Sullivan ("Will he come?" No publisher's information, [P.N.] 1746.5); Franz Abt (several songs), and many others. Several of the pieces with heavy wear, large tears and losses; most with edge wear and some soiling and toning.
