Sammelband of Nineteenth-Century Vocal Music

A large sammelband of sheet music for opera arias and other classical vocal music, published mostly in the United States (some European editions), ca. 1860's–1880's. 225 pp. The volume contains ca. 50-60 items of music bound in quarter leather, with leather ownership label of Helen M. Lough to the front board. Page numbers are stamped at the upper right corner of every leaf. The pieces include solo high voice arias and several ensembles for women's voices by Arditi, Verdi, Mozart, Bellini, Rossini, Donizetti, Schubert, Wagner and many others. Corners and spine rubbed, some toning consistent with age, but structurally sound and overall fine. 10.5 x 13.5 inches. (17075)
