Group of autograph and typed letters signed from the German author Julius Stinde, the British-born German philosopher Houston Chamberlain, and cultural critic Ernst von Wolzogen, and an autograph postcard written to the Austrian Jewish pacifist and journalist Alfred Fried. In fine condition overall.

TLS (April 19, 1899; 1 p.) from Houston Stewart Chamberlain to the editors of the newspaper Die Zeit, complaining that his article on the works of Hans von Bülow has been changed beyond recognition and that "I am not willing to present something to the public which I have not written myself."
