Signed "O.Zadkine" in pencil l.r., numbered "115/150" in pencil l.l. Lithograph on wove paper, image size 21.5 x 13.5 inches, unmatted, unframed. Full sheet with deckled edges, pale scattered soiling/foxing, minor nicks and staining to edges, gentle handling creases. Overall fine.The Russian-born artist Ossip Zadkine is primarily known as a sculptor, but also produced paintings and lithographs. After attending art school in London, Zadkine settled in Paris in 1910. While in Paris he joined the Cubist movement, working in a Cubist idiom from 1914 to 1925. He later developed his own style, one that was strongly influenced by African and Greek art. (17015)
