Signed Carnegie Hall Debut Program

Signed program from the February 28, 1960 Carnegie Hall debut recital of the Soviet cellist, together with pianist Lydia Pecherskaya. Shafran has signed over the first page of the program listing. The concert included sonatas by Brahms, Shostakovich, and Schubert, and works by Ravel, Granados, and De Falla. In very fine condition, 23 pp, together with a newspaper clipping about the concert. 7.25 x 9.75 inches (18.7 x 24.8 cm). (16872)
