A very rare signed photograph of the influential French-born composer. He is shown in an A. Binder of Berlin postcard photograph and has signed and inscribed on the verso (translated from the French): "To my little camarade Conchita—in great friendship—Edgard Varèse," dating July 4, [19]13. Light toning, silvering, and a slight smudge to the signature, but overall in fine condition. 3.5 x 5.25 inches (8.5 x 13.5 cm).Signed material from Varèse is uncommon; this is the first signed photograph we have offered.
