Signed book from the Hungarian-born photographer known for his groundbreaking contributions to photographic composition and the photo essay, today considered one of the seminal figures of photojournalism. The book is a collection of color images made with a Polaroid SX-70 towards the end of Kertész's life and his only work in color; a series of images of various objects taken on his windowsill with the city or sky as backdrop, reflecting on the passage of time and the death of his beloved wife, Elizabeth. Photographs by Kertesz; introduction by Peter MacGill. Hardcover with dust jacket; fading to the spine, but otherwise in fine condition.
