Typed extract of two paragraphs from the 1946 novel Delta Wedding, signed at the upper right by its author, Eudora Welty, who has also corrected one small typo in the second paragraph. Very fine. 8.5 x 11 inches (21.7 x 28 cm).Welty received numerous awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Order of the South, and a Pulitzer Prize (for her novel The Optimist's Daughter.)
