Signed original postcard photograph of the great conductor, who is shown in a profile portrait from the collar up, and has signed in black ink at the foot. Stamped and signed in pencil by the photographer, Trude Fleischmann of Vienna. Signature very slightly smudged; light toning; overall very good. 3.5 x 5.25 inches (8.6 x 13.5 cm).During the 1920s Trude Fleischmann was one of the most popular portrait photographers in Vienna. In 1920 she opened here her photo studio, and portrayed prestigious figures from society, art and culture, such as the architect Adolf Loos and writer Stefan Zweig. (16484)
