Signed postcard photograph of the important Polish pianist, who is shown in a portrait by Gerschel of Paris and has signed at the right edge. Light silvering to the edges; overall fine. 3.25 x 5.25 inches (8.5 x 13.7 cm).Moriz Rosenthal studied with Liszt for 9 years and was one of the most important pianists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A regular sonata partner of Fritz Kreisler, he toured frequently and left many recordings. (16452)
