"Bonds Away" - Original Program and Ticket from 1944 Air Force Show
Original program and ticket from a January 17, 1944 Air Force War Bond Show, titled "Bonds Away!" The show took place at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House and featured an Air Force band and songs, dances, and skits by members of the Air Force. The broadside/program opens to a listing of the show's acts, and then opens out further to a map of the American west coast, with a diagram of the route of the first Air Force War Bond road show. Light overall toning, with the date added to the cover page in ink; overall fine. 7 x 11 inches (18 x 28 cm) folded; 14 x 22 inches (36 x 56 cm) opened. Ticket 4.5 x 2.5 inches (11.8 x 6.4 cm).
