Signed Photograph with AUTOGRAPH MUSICAL QUOTATION of the Symphony No. 1 in E flat Major, Op. 13

AMQS from the eminent Romanian-born violinist and composer, on an unusual large original photograph of him conducting an orchestra. Six measures from his Symphony in E-flat, signed and inscribed to Robert S. Holzman, in French, 1939.  Corner creases; otherwise fine overall. 9.5 x 7.5 inches (image), 14 x 11 inches total.

The composer's Symphony No. 1 was premiered on Sunday, 21 January 1906 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, on the fourteenth concert of the 1905–06 series of the Concerts Colonne, conducted by Édouard Colonne. (16296)
