Signed doubleweight photograph of the important jazz pianist, composer and bandleader, shown during a broadcast from the BBC studios on his 1933 tour of England and Scotland. Ellington is seen looking over the soundboard of the piano, with several other members of his band visible, and has signed boldly at the right: "Best wishes / Duke Ellington."
