Amusing Autograph Musical Quotation

An amusing autograph musical quotation from the Spanish violinist and composer, who has penned three measures of rests in 12/8, marked with a dramatic crescendo and decrescendo from pppppp to ffff and back to p, noting that it should be played "Mit enthousiasmus." He adds at the head (translated from the German): "Souvenir of Berlin in the year 1906." On a small album leaf with some toning; overall fine. 7.25 x 4.5 inches (18.3 x 11.3 cm). (16258)
