Signed Moffett of Chicago photograph of the eminent French composer, conductor, pianist and critic. He is shown seated and has boldly signed and inscribed to tenor Lawrence Strauss (translated from the French): "To Mr. Lawrence Strauss, who sings French music with such skill and talent. Cordially, Gabriel Grovlez. New York, February 1922." Signed at the lower left in red by the photographer. Large loss to the upper left corner; overall very good. 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm).
