Autograph letter from the English organist and composer to a Mr. Woods, arranging an organ lesson and mentioning his recovery from an illness. February 18, [n.y.]. 3 pp. on letterhead of the Oxford Union Society. Writing that he is "rapidly getting into my usual lively state again—although of course ten days in doors has much reduced my strength," Stainer reschedules a coming organ lesson, also sending wishes to the correspondent's father and sister.
