Three Original Photographs
Three original photographs of the great composer and bandleader with his orchestra in 1947 and 1950. Two small original photographs show the group performing onstage in 1947, one viewed from in front of the stage, the other from behind the horn section. A larger original press photograph shows Duke conducting the band, apparently in a casual outdoor performance in Paris, 1950. Dated and stamped on the verso with remnants of a press caption to the press image; one corner crease and some light edge wear. Overall fine. 4.5 x 3.5 inches (11.5 x 8.6 cm) and 7 x 5 inches (18 x 13 cm). (16142)Jazz Unsigned Photograph
