Signed CDV photograph of Ann E. Leak, the nineteenth-century American woman born without arms, who toured the United States displaying her skill at writing, sewing, and braiding hair using her toes. She has signed at the foot of the photograph in this manner, and is shown seated with her feet out ready to write. Photographed by J. Gurney & Son of New York.
