Signed Halftone Photograph with Concert Program

Signed halftone photograph of the important English conductor, together with an original 1948 concert program from a performance of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Hiawatha, conducted by Sargent. Sargent is shown examining a score in a portrait photograph clipped from a program, and has signed boldly across the foot. The program (12 pp., February 7, 1948) includes the full text to Coleridge's oratorio. Photograph tipped to a mount, in fine condition; program with some toning and one tear, overall very good. Photograph mounted to 4.75 x 6 inches (12 x 15.3 cm), program 8 x 10 inches (20.1 x 25.5 cm). (16053)
