Signed Halftone Photograph with Concert Program
Signed clipped halftone photograph of the important English conductor, together with an original 1946 concert brochure featuring a further photograph of Boult on the cover. Boult is shown together with Italian conductor Mario Corti, and has signed over the photograph and its mount. The concert brochure, advertising the Cheltenham Autumn Music Festival of November 4–7, 1946, shows Boult on the cover, "who will conduct the performance of Elgar's 'Dream of Gerontius.' " Some light toning and wear; overall fine. Photograph mounted to 4.5 x 3 inches (11.4 x 7.6 cm); brochure (4 pp.), 5.5 x 8.5 inches (13.9 x 21.6 cm).
