Dorrance Stalvey was a composer, educator, and director of the Monday Evening Concerts series in Los Angeles from 1971 until 2005. An advocate for contemporary music, he composed for chamber ensembles, voice, orchestra, electronics, musical theater, multimedia, and dance. He was also a faculty member at Immaculate Heart College, Pomona College, and the University of Southern California. (15811)
