Original 8 x 10 inch photograph of the young Berstein with the great pianist whose flourishing career was cut tragically short by a plane crash on the way back from Australia. Newspaper caption affixed to verso states that the musicians are "going over the score to Prokofiev's Third Piano Concerto, which Kapell will play with the Philharmonic under Bernstein tonight at the Stadium.
