Autograph letter from the American lyricist and composer known for standards such as "Swanee" and "Tea for Two." January 8, 1962. He writes: "Dear Phil— As soon as I get my present tyranny (writing something) out of the way, in about two weeks, I will bare my back to your lash. As ever, Irving."
