Original souvenir program from a showcase performance of the great ballerina, given on one of her highly publicized American tours of 1921–25. The cover features a raised, stylized image of a sculpture of Pavlova; inside, the program (including "Dionysus," "Fairy Tales," "The Fairy Doll," "Les Preludes," "Snowflakes," and other numbers) is described in detail, with several full-page photographs of the dancer. Bound with a brown silk cord; some wear to the edges and spine; overall in fine condition. 9.25 x 12.5 inches (23.8 x 31.7 cm).Pavlova's American tours were produced by Sol Hurok. Her last tour, of 1924–25, consisted of 238 performances in 77 towns—in only 26 weeks. (15584)
