Flesch, Carl. (1873–1944)

Typed Letter Signed

Typed letter signed from the celebrated Hungarian violinist and pedagogue, sending information about his violin course and informing the correspondent that he is not available for private lessons. Baden-Baden, March 26, 1929. Translated from the German: "Dear Fräulein, In answer to your letter of the 22nd, please find enclosed a prospectus for my course. As far as private lessons go, these are out of the question, because my limited time does not allow it. It is precisely for this purpose that I have arranged the course, in order to in some way compensate the many people who wish to have lessons with me, and who cannot have this wish fulfilled. Respectfully, Carl Flesch." 1 p. on his letterhead, boldly signed at the foot. Folding creases and light toning; overall in fine condition. 8.75 x 11.25 inches (22.4 x 29 cm). (15544)
