Signed photograph of the American tap dancer and actor, the best known and most highly paid African American entertainer in the first half of the twentieth century. Bojangles is shown mid-step and has signed and inscribed at the right: "Just a few 'Taps' for Mrs. F. O. Worden and family—with best wishes always / Bill Robinson / 1932." The photograph has also been labeled in the lower margin: "Pearl Theatre, Phila. Pa.," and a further note on the verso notes the date of Bojangles' performance at the theatre: 31 October, 1932.
