Early Photograph with Signature and Inscription
An unusual early photograph of the American violinist, composer and friend of Debussy, who is shown playing violin ca. age 4! He has signed and inscribed in green ink on the verso: "For Sue—This, the first picture of Arthur Hartmann / about 3 1/2–4 years of age." and dated: New York, March 2, 1949.
