Amusing original cartoon drawn for the New Yorker by cartoonist Tom Toro, showing the victim of a home invasion begging the thief to take her husband's accordion. Published in the New Yorker on April 18, 2016, with their inventory label on the verso. Watercolor, pen, ink, and correction fluid on paper. Signed "Toro" in lower right image, captioned below. 8.25 x 9.75 inches (21 x 24.8 cm), on an 11 x 14-inch sheet. 

Toro (1982 - ) is a Kansas City-based cartoonist who published his first cartoon in The New Yorker in 2010 and quickly became a favorite contributor. To date, he has published over 150 cartoons for the magazine. In 2016, two of Toro''s cartoons were featured in a juried exhibition at the Society of Illustrators annual Comic and Cartoon Exhibit.
