Jewel Song - Autograph Musical Quotation

Autograph musical quotation from the important French composer of mélodies, who has penned two lines of music from Gounod's famous "Jewel Song" in Faust with the text "Non! Non! Ce n'est plus toi! Non! Non! Ce n'est plus ton visage!" and boldly signed at the foot, identifying the quotation as a "fragment...celebre." On a sheet measuring 13 x 21 cm with a small mounted photograph of Hahn and his name inscribed in the collector's hand; together with the original envelope, both mounted recto/verso on a slightly larger sheet. A few spots of foxing and a little wrinkled overall, else fine.  (14973)
