Autograph note from the important French painter, arranging a meeting to review "what I intend to send to the exposition." Rue Guyot, [Paris], n.d. Translated from the French: "Dear Sir, I should very much like to show you what I intend to send to the exposition. Would you be so kind as to come Saturday or Sunday after two o'clock. You will excuse me if I am able to give you but one hour. I hope to choose the most propitious hour of the day to appear before a judge such as you." 1 p. of a small bifolium.
