Translated from the French: "Dear sir, I regret I cannot give you any response on the subject of the Etude. I would be obliged if you would make your proposals directly to the proprietor; here is his address: Monsieur Budgett, Stoke Park, Guildford, England." 2 pp. of a bifolium, with original envelope.
