Autograph letter signed from the American painter known as a teacher and an exponent of Impressionism, to a Mrs. Derving, offering help with an article on flower painting. February 8, 1909. Chase writes: "I fear I have neglected to answer your recently received letter. Don't hesitate to come to me for anything that will in anyway help in your article on flower painting. You would be admitted and welcome at any time at my house to see the [...] picture which hangs in our dining room. Sincerely yours, W. M. Chase. [P.S.] There is somewhere in [...] my house a very interesting old flower-picture which I will try to get out for you. W. M. C." 2 pp. of a bifolium.
