An original printed caricature portrait of the great composer and conductor on the podium, one of a series of drawings of Mahler conducting by the Austrian artist Hans Böhler. Mahler is shown with an animated expression and a clenched fist, while his music stand and score seem on the brink of tumbling over. 10 x 11.5 inches. Mounted to rigid backing, toning around the edges, else fine.  (14771)
