Autograph letter signed from the important composer and conductor, making arrangements for a concert of some of his most famous works. July 20, 1929. Translated from the German, in part: I ask your permanent conductors to prepare the programs…so that I can get off with only two rehearsals…Is the concert before an audience or just on the radio?…What do you think of the following program: Also sprach Zarathustra; Couperin Suite; Death and Transfiguration; Or: Prelude to Guntram; Don Juan; Suite from Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme; Till Eulenspiegel." 2 pp. on recto and verso of a single sheet, 4.25 x 7 inches.
