Bori, Lucrezia. (1887–1960)

Signed 1935 Metropolitan Opera Program, her last "Pelleas."

Bori has signed and inscribed the 3/20/35 program "hoping will not be the last." In fact, it was Bori's last performance of a work which was closely associated with the great soprano, a role she sang 32 times at the Met. Bori retired the following year with a spectacular Met farewell gala on March 29, 1936.
