Boldly signed halftone photograph of the great violinist, taken from a 1954 concert program. Menuhin is shown casually plucking his violin, with his bow resting across his knees, while he gazes intently to the right. Another hand has dated the page: October 31, 1954. On the verso, a color portrait and facsimile signature of Beethoven.
