AMQS from the German composer's 1959 opera König Nicolo, signed and dated March 5, [19]79 and mounted together with an original photograph of the composer. Together with an 1974 concert program from a Berlin performance of Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, signed by Chemin-Petit and by the vocal soloists, Gerti Zeumer, Marga Schiml, Horst Laubenthal and Harald Stamm; and a card sending thanks for wishes on Chemin-Petit's 70th birthday, signed with a short personal message by the composer. All in very fine condition.A composer of choral and instrumental music and an important figure in the musical life of Berlin for many years, Hans Chemin-Petit was a celebrated choral conductor.
