1934 Recital in Palestine - Original Program
Original program from a series of three recitals of the great pianist in then-Palestine in April 1934. Rubinstein's ambitious program included works by Bach-Busoni, Chopin, Debussy, Ravel, Prokofiev, Scriabin, and Stravinsky; a pencilled annotation indicates that he also performed De Falla's "Feuertanz." The program, in English and Hebrew, features a half-tone photograph of Rubinstein on the Hebrew cover.
