Original signed photograph of the musicologist who was followed by millions on NBC for his shows, "Keys to Happiness," "The Tune Detective" and "Song Sleuth." Spaeth, shown smiling at the piano, has inscribed at the left: "To Siegfried H. Kahn, greatest thrower of musical parties - with sincere appreciation - Sigmund Spaeth, March 17, [19]29." Photographed by Apeda of New York. Slight smudging to the inscription, glued to the mat, else in fine condition. 9.5 x 7.25 inches (24 x 18.4 cm), matted to 13 x 11 inches (33 x 28 cm).

Siegfried H. Kahn was a member of the famed New York Bohemian Club and a famous host of musical parties in the 1920's and 30's. (14020)
