Autograph letter from the influential French composer, conductor and pedagogue to the French soprano Marthe Chenal, arranging for a concert with her younger sister Lili Boulanger. 1 p.; n.p., n.d. [ca. 1910-1915]. Translated from the French: "What a disappointment! We are sorry - but what is there to be done? Mlle. Catulle Mendès seemed dismayed - We will telephone you on Wednesday to arrange to rehearse before our concert on Sunday. With our gratitude and our sincere admiration, Nadia Boulanger."
