Original Program of 1908 Inaugural Organ Concert
Original program for a concert on June 21, 1908, given by the celebrated organist and composer and successor to Widor at the Paris Conservatoire. The concert was given to inaugurate the newly-built Cavaillé-Coll organ at the "Manoir Denouval," the stately home of the Hershey Eddy family outside Paris, and included works by Bach, Chauvet, Couperin, Clérambault, and Franck, as well as Guilmant's own first sonata for organ.
