The performance featured excerpts from Vincent D'Indy's important symbolist opera L'Etranger and Camille Saint-Saëns' Les Barbares, as well as the complete first act of Reynaldo Hahn's ballet La Fête chez Thérèse, with each work conducted by its composer. The cover bears an attractive decorative border with cherubs and classical figures playing instruments, engraved by Stern after L. Le Lorrain. 3 pp. Bound with cord; deckle edges.
