Score of "Fledermaus" Up for Auction - Original Press Photograph

Original 1962 photograph showing the original score of Die Fledermaus as a scholar examines it. Press caption on the verso reads: "The original script of the world famous operetta 'Fledermaus' (bat) by Johann Strauss will be auctioned in Munich on May 17th, 1962...It is estimated to gain a price between 100.000 and 150.000 DM as the whole script is in the handwriting of Strauss."
