Fantastic original photograph of the youthful librettist, composer, and lyricist posing in 1927, around the time of their collaboration on A Connecticut Yankee. Captured by the important Broadway photographer Florence Vandamm, Fields and Hart are seen perched on a smiling Rodgers' knees, Hart with his characteristic cigar in his hand. Verso blank apart from later pencil notations; two small scuffs and slight creasing to one corner; otherwise in very fine condition. 8 x 10 inches (20.5 x 25.3 cm). (13411)
