Autograph letter signed from the important French opera composer, promising a female friend that he will do his best to schedule a performance in the coming season. Translated from the French: "[...] So I promise I will take care of it, in any event, for the other, still free, season - and we must hurry up! - there are already 11 engagements scheduled for 1911! - And I only take concerts!" 

1 p. With folds and perforated edges; mounting remnants on the verso unfortunately obscure the addressee's name. One slight tear at the horizontal fold; overall in very good condition. 4.75 x 6.25 inches (12 x 16 cm). (13393)
