Original menu and program from the legendary Cotton Club, featuring Cab Calloway and his orchestra, Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, Avis Andrews, Mae Johnson, The Chocolateers, and the Tramp Band, among others. 4 pp., with a striking color cover on heavy textured paper, showing African nudes dancing in a jungle, and 2 pp. of extensive drink and supper listings. With the club's second address (Broadway at 48th Street), indicating that this program dates from ca. 1936-1938. Wear and some small tears to the edges of the cover, small tears to the spine, and staining on the back cover; internal pages with light toning but intact; overall in good condition. 10 x 13.25 (25.7 x 33.6 cm) with cover; internal pages 12.5 x 9.75 inches (25 x 31.7 cm).
