An LP of piano music by Aaron Copland, with Copland on the cover. Signed and inscribed by Copland in pen "with affection" to Elliot Carter and his wife, Helen, and dated 1978. Jacket in fine condition, the LP untested. An extraordinary association.Copland and Carter, though very different stylistically, are widely regarded to be the two greatest American composers ever, perhaps with the addition of Charles Ives and George Gershwin.
