Original doublewide (foldout) cover of the April 15, 1966 issue of Life Magazine (Volume 60, no. 15) with a fantastic image of the great Satchmo, signed and inscribed "Best Wishes To Tammy / Satchmo - Louis Armstrong." Approx. 19.5 x 13 inches, elaborately framed in a playful tri-color wood inlay frame to 22.5 x 15.75 inches. The complete magazine issue is included in a pocket on the frame verso, and features extensive 19-page article with numerous photos of Armstrong.Light handling wear with a few margin creases and 1/8" spine split at top and slight remnant of a mailing label on the cover. Overall in fine condition with very fine signature. (13221)
